The Mart Library is specialized in the art of the 19th and 20th centuries, with a special focus on the avant-garde movements. It conserves approximately 1,500 periodicals and more than 80,000 volumes, among which is a rich collection of original Futurist publications, artists' books and more than 10,000 exhibition catalogues. In addition, it conserves the personal libraries of artists, architects and critics such as Fortunato Depero, Gino Severini, Luciano Baldessari, Angiolo Mazzoni, Vittore Grubicy, Carlo Belli and others.

The Mart Library, in collaboration with the research laboratory for European Cultural Periodicals (Circe Project) of the Department of Literary, Linguistic and Philological Studies of the Università degli Studi di Trento, has launched a project for the digital consultation of a number of important 20th-century periodicals. The idea of creating a Digital Library was born of the need to provide access to a series of rare periodicals whose susceptibility to deterioration makes them otherwise inaccessible. The archive provides both the indexes of the periodicals and digital versions of the periodicals themselves. Among them the Futurist magazines: Poesia (1905); Lacerba (1913 – 1915); La Balza Futurista (1915 – 1922); Dinamo (1919); Dinamo Futurista (1933).

We decline all responsibility for the content of the periodicals.
